    Rome Health is currently seeking a Director of Infection Prevention and Employee Health  to lead our team in delivering high quality, compassionate care.

    Appropriate candidates will have a strong understanding of researching and implementing Infection Control principals/procedures for all areas of the hospital. The Director of Infection Prevention and Employee Health will have a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations governing Infection Control and Employee Health.

    The Director of Infection Prevention and Employee Health will collaboratively assist with establishing goals and direction hospital-wide through the use of technical information and surveillance data, policy development, health information promotion, and proactively recognizes infection control and safety hazards and work with the IP department to control the hazard.

    Qualifications:
    Ideal candidate will have a strong background in infection prevention. A minimum of 2 years of clinical or related experience required with a stong back ground in infection prevention. RN preferred.

    Must have a Baccalaureate degree with intent to pursue Master’s Degree if not already obtained.

    Certified in Infection Control preferred; otherwise, must obtain within the first year of employment

    Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office) required.
